Transportation Choices Friday Forums
Transportation Choices Coalition (TCC) offers free discussion and Q&A sessions on a variety of transportation topics, for members and supporters. Led by TCC staff members and issue experts from the field, the forums are a great way to learn about transportation and Transportation Choices Coalition, and are usually attended by 20-60 people. Former topics include: Transportation Choices' legislative agenda for the 2007 session in Olympia; a discussion with Sound Transit staff about what's next for light rail; implementation of Seattle's Bridging the Gap and King County's Transit Now measure; a discussion of the findings of the recently concluded Regional Transportation Commission; and a panel discussion with reporters from Seattle's major newspapers on the politics of the Alaskan Way Viaduct and its pending replacement.
