One Less Car Challenge
The One Less Car Challenge gives you a taste of living with one less car. The program provides great tips on how to get around by bus, bike, foot and carpool. There are two ways to participate in the One Less Car Challenge. In Level 1 you'll go on a "car diet" for a month by not driving one of your cars, or your only car. You may prove to yourself that you don't need that car after all! If you sell your extra car or your only car you'll get even bigger incentives through Level 2, and save yourself thousands of dollars a year!
Level 1: Give up driving one of your cars for one month. Incentives: $50 for a transit pass or bike gear, a discounted membership to the Cascade Bicycle Club, and $50 off a Zipcar membership.
Level 2: Sell or donate a car (some restrictions apply). Incentives: $200 for a transit pass or bike gear, a $100 discount from Tiny’s Organic, free memberships to the Cascade Bicycle Club and Bicycle Alliance of Washington, and $50 off a Zipcar membership.
