Summer Streets

Greenwood/Phinney Seattle Summer Streets: Enjoy Your Street to the Fullest

Walk. Bike. Shop. Play. Breathe. On Friday, April 10 Greenwood Avenue/Phinney Avenue from N 87th Street to N 65th Street is being opened up from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Greenwood/Phinney Chamber of Commerce has partnered with us to make this a great event.

What’s Happening

The Greenwood/Phinney Chamber is hosting a Seattle Summer Streets Party along with its monthly Art Up/Open Up event. Stroll the streets, visit local businesses and view community art. Use chalk to create your own art on the pavement, talk with your neighbors and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

During this event buses normally using Greenwood Avenue N are being detoured to Third Avenue NW.

Small Sparks Grant

Experience your street in a new way, and see what the city could be like if we were to drive less. The Department of Neighborhoods would love to support your creative ideas to "Celebrate Your Summer Streets." Read about our Small Sparks grants.

Getting There

Please make your trip to this Summer Streets event car-free. Cascade Bike Club plans to lead bike rides to the events from around town. Visit the Commuter Toolkit to learn more about other transportation options for this event and more.
